My name is Joyce and I'm a retired Registered Nurse from Arkansas.

I've had RLS for 55 years.

My RLS began when I was 11 years old and accompanied aching legs from my growth spurt and I still remember how miserable I was even a half a century later.

One of the things I noticed, especially in my elderly female patients was the prevalence of RLS and I made it my duty to inform their Primary Care Physician of my observations and patient complaints.

My father had mild RLS symptoms and only on occasion. I was the only person in my family, that I knew of that had such severe symptoms.

As a nurse I was able to access information and do my own research on how to get relief. This was way before the internet and difficult at best but I needed help.

There was still nothing prescriptive available at the time specifically for RLS so I started coming up with ways to prevent and relieve the symptoms because I truly suffered.

If anyone can empathize believe me when I say, yes I can.
I'm looking forward to sharing with you everything I can about living with RLS and to help you improve your quality of life.
