My restless legs

I've had restless legs for many many yrs, I take 30mg amatriptoline at bedtime, but lately I don't feel like it's working, most night my legs keep me awake for hrs, I have to constantly move my legs, my feet seem warm to, I'm now using a fan pointing on my feet to try cool them down. Does anyone else take medication and if so does it help, and also do your feet feel warm

  1. Hi . Good questions. Yes, lots of people take medication for RLS, but each person is different in how they respond. Some see improvement, others don't. And it's common to need higher doses over time.

Here's an article that explains the different medication options out there:

And as for hot feet, that is common too. Some people crave cool temperatures for their feet. Others like heat. Everyone is different.

I hope you find the articles here useful. Let us know if you have questions! -Melissa, team member
