Quick Question for anyone with RLS.

Do your sensations feel like quick rapid tiny muscle twitches ? I am keen to get some answers from anyone with RLS. My sensations are tiny muscle twitches , rapid , deep and non stop 24/7 when at rest, they are also body wide. There is another syndrome called Benign Fasciculation Syndrome which also sounds a lot like my symptoms , tiny muscle twitches which can be both seen and felt. Both RLS and BFS seem to have an overlap of symptoms and the same triggers. Which ever one it is , its a torture 🙁

  1. Thanks for replying. I move my legs to get rid of the sensations , but i dont need to pace around like a lot of people. My twitches seem to be like sharp pins and needles or like a sandstorm in my leg. I also have it 24/7 in my abs.

    1. Hi . We are not medical experts, but those sensations do sound like they are neurological. Have you talked to your doctor about your symptoms or seen a neurologist? There are nerve tests that might help them figure out what types of sensations you are feeling and rule out certain health conditions. It must be horrible to feel that way 24/7. Are you able to sleep at all? I hope you get some answers and some relief soon. Please keep us posted if you don't mind. I'll be thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)

  2. I have tiny muscle twitches, but also feel the need to move my legs a lot too.
