What Treatments Do You Use For Your Restless Legs?

  1. I use spray on magnesium oil, and take a little extra magnesium glycinate. It definitely helps me.

    1. I tried/used lifestyle changes for many, many years - reduced and removed alcohol/caffeine. Reduced sugar intake. Stretched, stretched, stretched. Kept my room at a low temperature. Walked daily. Had a hot shower. Had a big comfy chair I could wriggle around in at night. Then I found medications and they changed my life. Pregabalin and pramipexole every night and I have no pain or discomfort. Still wriggly but it's okay.

      1. First of all, I try to adapt my lifestyle as much as possible. Good balance with sports; the right movement at the right time. Healthy eating; not too much sugar and not too much alcohol. Good day rhythm; active in the morning and quiet in the evening when I'm tired.
If all this doesn't work, I still have medication. Since my diagnosis I have taken Pramipexol for three years. But since the beginning of this year I stopped, because my RLS was very quiet. Unfortunately that is not always the case and sometimes I take another Pramipexol. It is my last resort, so I can still sleep a bit and be rested the next day.
