Works great

Just wanted everyone to know that for my restless limbs I was prescribed ROPINIROL taken before bedtime is it started. I found it was fantastic for me so finally got some sleep. Apparently it is used for parkinsons. Had no side effects.
Good luck.

  1. That's wonderful, ! Lots of people have success with Ropinorol. I hope it continues to work for you with no side effects. Did you doctor warn you to watch out for augmentation? It doesn't happen to everyone, but it's good to be aware just in case. Here is an article about augmentation that might interest you: https://restlesslegssyndrome.sleep-disorders.net/augmentation. Thanks for sharing what helps. It must feel amazing to finally get some relief. Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)

    1. Meant to say that I have migrainous vertigo and fibromyalgia so have been on other tablets it was the only one that worked right away.

      1. I was on gabapentin once and it never worked for me. Ropinirol was by far the best.
Maybe you could ask your doc to look into that instead of gabapentin.
        Just my tuppence worth.

        Lol gives my age away.

        1. That's great to hear! Have you tried any other meds in the past? I've had RLS on/off (mostly off) for years, but in dec it got worse & the last 2 weeks it's gotten so bad I can't actually sleep many days. I finally managed to get to the Dr today and he gave me 100mg gabapentin I'm PRAYING it works I dont want to imagine it not working, I can't keep doing this! So was just wondering if you had tried much prior to this one

          1. Hi . Gabapentin can be a good choice for people with RLS. It doesn't help everyone, but, for many people, it's all they need. I hope you are one of those people. You are on a low dose at 100 milligrams so, if this doesn't help, maybe your doctor will consider increase it. Keep us posted. I'd love to know how you are doing. Warmly, Lori (Team Member)

          2. Hi there! First, I've been meaning to tell you that I love your choice of username and it makes me smile every time I see it. 😀

Now, my real reason for posting: Just wanted to see how things are going with the gabapentin. Any luck so far, since it's been a week? I hope you've had some promising results. Take care! -Melissa, team member
