Do you experience insomnia?

Do you have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep?

What do you do to try to fall asleep? What helps you wind down to go to sleep, or helps you get back to sleep after waking up?

  1. look into circadian sleep patterns. I find this has helped me, our brains love routine, so going to bed or winding down at the same time most nights, our brains and body get used to this. Has helped be a lot lately. Routine is boring but it helps reset sometimes

    1. Yes, I have trouble falling asleep and also staying asleep. My bladder wakes me up usually every 2hrs. I'm working on techniques to hopefully be able to sleep longer between waking.

I have written about drinking warm milk before bed to help me fall asleep here https://restlesslegssyndrome.sleep-disorders.net/living/warm-milk

I need to get back into a wind-down routine again, I stopped doing it when I was having issues staying awake after eating dinner. I did write about the struggles of following a sleep routine back when I used to https://restlesslegssyndrome.sleep-disorders.net/living/sleep-routine
