RLS

I started having RLS about 20 years ago. My medicine worked fine for most of the time until I had a bunch of surgeries. This last year, my RLS has gone out of control, even with the medicine. I feel symptoms in my arms, in my legs, it’s all over my body and I don’t know what to do about it. I’ve tried magnesium and vitamin D ropinirole, the whole gamut. I’ve even increased with my doctor the ropinirole to 3 mg. It makes it worse. I’m at my wits end right now because it happens every single night and during the day. Please help. Thank you.

  1. I am so sorry that your RLS has gotten so much worse. Surgery, especially repeat surgeries, is very taxing on the body. This can exacerbate diseases and may potentially trigger other diseases.

I apologize if you have already tried these medications, but have you tried Gabapentin, pregabalin or mirogabalin?
