The dreaded RLS that I now call "the jitters"

Hello. I'm taking this opportunity before the jitters start. I've recently finished chemotherapy has this caused my " jitters"?I had them few years ago for a spell but no where near as bad. Also is RLS hereditary?

  1. Hi . Researchers believe there might be a hereditary component for some people with RLS, but the cause is unknown and there are different types and there might even be multiple causes of each. Here is an article that explains it better than I can: https://restlesslegssyndrome.sleep-disorders.net/causes. Were you ever treated for RLS before chemo? Unfortunately, chemo therapy can cause nerve damage that is usually referred to as neuropathy. Have you discussed these symptoms with your doctor? There might be medications that can help. - Lori (Team Member)
