RLS Treatment

After fifty years and many doctors 2 months ago I asked my new doctor about RLS he immediately responded with a prescription for
pregabalin, this was a life changer, previously I was existing on 3-4 hours of broken sleep and walking around the house several times a night, now I sleep 7-8 hours a night with no restless legs.
I am 73 years and I have not had any adverse side effects from Pregabalin.

  1. My Dr. Prescribed Gabapentin and it doesn’t help at all.

    1. Hello! It can be a bummer not to have prescription drugs to help with your symptoms. Have you talked to your doctor about potential alternative prescriptions? I definitely encourage you to communicate with your provider to discuss other potential options.

I am glad that you have this life-changing medication and are no longer existing on 3-4hrs of broken sleep.

    Wishing you all the best

    1. That is so great to hear! I had a similar experience with pregabalin about 15 years ago. It feels like a life saver 😊
