What does self-care mean to you?

Do you practice self-care for your physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual well-being? What are some of your favorite ways to practice self-care?

  1. We’re all responsible for our own care. My self care regimen is: 1. 12 mins. of mediation in the early morning, 2. Early morning exercise on U TUBE for symptoms of peripheral neuropathy, 3. Go to gym to walk and ride the stationary bike, 4. Late afternoon exercise for seniors on U TUBE using hand weights and elastic exercise bands. This routine really benefits me both physically and mentally.

    1. Sounds like a really good self-care routine that you have going. I am glad to hear that you find it really beneficial mentally and physically.

    Some people think self-care is selfish but it's critical for survival, even for healthy people.

    I was hoping to be able to get away for a self-care getaway for my birthday tomorrow but because of Covid, I had to cancel my plans.

    My ultimate self-care goal is to move into a small town nestled in the heart of nature. That is where I was going to be going for my birthday. I thrive so much better there. Clean air, natural foods, and nature galore!
