Strangely enough, going for a pee actually sets off my RL. I waken up without symptoms, needing to go. Within ten minutes the symptoms come roaring in with me. It then is impossible to go back to bed.

YES! I totally can relate. Wakes me up and I always try to go to the bathroom and sometimes just having a pea can stop the RLS, no idea why??

That is so interesting, . It makes me wonder if there is a neurological connection, if maybe the nerves that tell your brain you need to urinate are somehow also involved in RLS. Thanks for chiming in. Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)

Yes! Especially at night. I can be fast asleep and it will wake me up to realize that I need to go. I thought this was a quirk of mine only! Also if I eat sugary stuff just before bedtime it will be infuriating for at least an hour before calming down.

Yes, sugar can be a nasty trigger for RLS symptoms.

Update: After being mindful of my RLS acting up and going pee, I haven't noticed a change in my symptoms.
