Frazzled

I started with RLS in my late teens. In the beginning aspirin would stop it. Then I went to Ibuprophen. Next my doctor prescribed prescription meds. As I sat in the waiting room on day waiting to be called into see the doctor. I noticed a pamphlet about RLS. I took it into the doctor where I passed it to him and said "This is what I have". I now have a sleep specialist that works with me. I take Gabapentin and Mirapex. The meds help me 80/20. He also introduced me to Resttiffic's that go on your feet. Has anyone ever experienced an 8 hour of NON STOP movement of your whole body? What a living hell.

  1. How scary, . I hope you never have to endure that again. You will find several people in this community who have had days-long epsiodes in their legs, arms or both, but I don't recall anyone being effected throughout their entire body for a full 24 hours. Does the Resttiffic device make a difference? Warm wishes. - Lori (Team Member)
