For 24 years RLS has disrupted so many things in my life but now, at 74, I know the worst part is the instant the first symptoms starts, knowing what comes with it & for how long it will last. I can't explain how enormous those feelings are in words, but you know what I'm talking about. It sends me to hell & back. If it won't even stop if I walk, that means several more how's of crying within my soul. My breathing quickens, my heart rate increases, my feelings of doom deepen & I just plainly feel as though nothing in the world will help me because there's no cure. The top end.medications do their job, but RLS has a mind of its own, pushing through all normal drugs and therapies.
