Variation in different manufacturers’ versions of generic Mirapex

I’ve suffered with RLS for years and am fortunate that generic Mirapex generally helps.

I’ve always taken Glenmark’s version. Out of the blue both Kroger & CVS have switched to Torrent’s version & it does not help me at all.

Now I’m going to have to jump thru immense hoops to get the Glenmark brand. Anyone else experience this? Tx

  1. Hi. I haven't taken Mirapex or the generic, but I have heard of this issue happening with various other meds, too. It's unfortunate. They say generics are exactly the same, but the subtle differences can really make an impact. Have you had any luck getting the other manufacturer's version since you posted this? -Melissa, team member

  2. Ugh. I am sorry to hear that, . I wonder what is different in the formulations. I hope your insurance company is cooperative and agrees to cover it. It will be interesting to see whether others have had similar reactions. Thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)
