RLS and Sodium

I lost many night's sleep because of debilitating RLS pain which I'm sure you are all too familiar. I did some research into sodium levels & discovered a link between low sodium & RLS. I have started eating a mandarin orange at night. I cut it sideways & sprinkle it with Himalayan pink salt let it sink in for a minute then eat the segments. Along with that I take a glass of juice with Himalayan salt in it. It's working for me so I'm sharing in case this is useful to someone else 🤞

  1. Hi . Welcome to the community! How wonderful that you landed on something so simple, yet so effective. There are so many potential causes for RLS that it can be really hard to find an effective treatment. What helps one person will not always help another, but it sure seems worth a try for those who can safely increase their sodium intake. Thanks for sharing what helps! - Lori (Team Member)
